At that time, the band had a new line-up (Mark 3), in which Gillan and Glover were replaced by vocalist David Coverdale and bass guitarist/vocalist Glenn Hughes.
Limited edition on colored orange vinyl.
Deep Purple is a British rock band formed in February 1968 in Hartford, England, and considered one of the most notable and influential hard rock bands of the 1970s. Music critics consider Deep Purple to be one of the founders of hard rock and highly appreciate their contribution to the development of progressive rock and heavy metal. The musicians of the "classic" Deep Purple line-up (in particular, guitarist Richie Blackmore, keyboardist John Lord, drummer Ian Pace) are considered virtuoso instrumentalists. More than 100 million copies of their albums have been sold worldwide.
