"In The Court Of The Crimson King" is the debut work by King Crimson, published in 1969. The album reached number 5 in the UK chart. In the United States, it reached number 28 on the Billboard 200 and received gold status. This is one of the first records that truly embodied the style of progressive rock.
The British rock band King Crimson was founded in 1968 by drummer Michael Giles and guitarist Robert Fripp. The band was constantly changing, and the band broke up and reunited several times. Robert Fripp remains the only regular participant. In 2009, another collapse occurred, at the moment the official discography of the band has 13 albums.
