"The Very Best Of" is for the first time on vinyl, a double compilation of the best songs by British guitarist Chris Rea, originally released in 2001.
The collection of the musician's best things opens with one of the most popular songs of the singer "The Road To Hell (Part 2)", also in the publication and his most famous song in America "Fool (If You Think It's Over)", and his most popular composition in New Zealand "Let's Dance", and adored in the Netherlands "Josephine".
Chris Rea was born in 1951 in the UK, he bought his first guitar only at the age of 22, but almost immediately he managed to start a musical career. His first solo CD Whatever Happened To Benny Santini? Ri released in 1978, the single Fool (If You Think It's Over) from it rose to number 12 in the US and was nominated for a Grammy. The most successful period in the musician's career was the time from 1987 to 1998, when all his albums got into the British Top10, and two of them, Road To Hell and Auberge, made their way to his highest line. The total sales of the musician's albums are more than 30 million copies. Chris Rea's last studio album to date, Santo Spirito Blues, was released in 2011, it reached number 11 in the UK charts.
