"Ready For Romance" is a reissue of the third studio album by the German pop duo Modern Talking, released in 1986. The album contains the band's hits such as "Brother Louie" and "Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. for Love)". The band actively conducted promotional campaigns in support of the album and singles on television, in the press and on radio around the world. The result of this work was high record sales, which allowed them to occupy the top of the charts of many countries in Europe (including the UK, which was a great achievement for the duo), Asia, South Africa and South America. According to many critics, the album is one of the best of all the band's albums.

Modern Talking was a German musical duo that existed from 1984 to 2003, performing dance music in the style of Eurodisco, Europop and Eurodance. The band consisted of Thomas Anders (lead vocals) and Dieter Bohlen (guitar, backing vocals, songwriting, production). It is one of the most successful bands in the history of popular music and the most successful among those created in Germany: the band's recordings have sold more than 120 million copies worldwide (as of 2003).
