"The 1st Album" is the debut studio album by the German pop duo Modern Talking, released in 1985. The album includes several hits, including the band's calling card "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", as well as "You Can Win If You Want". The first track was first released as a single in late 1984, the second in early 1985. After the release of the second single, the album itself was released. In total, the album has sold about 6 million copies worldwide.

Modern Talking was a German musical duo that existed from 1984 to 2003, performing dance music in the style of Eurodisco, Europop and Eurodance. The band consisted of Thomas Anders (lead vocals) and Dieter Bohlen (guitar, backing vocals, songwriting, production). It is one of the most successful bands in the history of popular music and the most successful among those created in Germany: the band's recordings have sold more than 120 million copies worldwide (as of 2003).
