"The Cross Of Changes" is a limited, remastered reissue of the Enigma studio album originally released in 1993. The most famous track of the album is "Return to Innocence", which was used in several films. Also, the composition "Age of Loneliness (Carly's Song)" in a specially modified arrangement was used in the film "Sliver" (Sliver) under the name "Carly's Loneliness".
The release is presented on black 180-gram vinyl.
Enigma is a German musical project created by Michel Cretu in 1990. Cretu is the composer and producer of the project, his ex-wife, singer Sandra Cretu, performed many vocal parts in his compositions. In total, eight studio albums, nineteen singles and several compilations were released. The project existed only as a studio, but since 2019 its members Andru Donalds, Andreas Harde (Angel X), Fox Lima have been performing concerts under the name Original Enigma Voices around the world.
