Talkie Walkie is the fourth full-length album by the French duo AIR, which was released on January 27, 2004. Tracks from the album have been used as soundtracks to many films, including "Lost in Translation", "Run" and "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner". In general, the album received a fairly good critical evaluation and was a huge success among fans. Pitchfork Media placed the album on the 191st step of the best albums of the 2000s, as well as among the albums of 2004, it took the 20th place
In 1995, in France, guitarist Nicolas Gaudin and keyboardist Jean-Benoit Dankel created the duo Air, which subsequently won numerous fans, thanks to the creation of soundtracks to famous films. The band's style was classified as electropop, ambient and lounge. The duo released their first album, titled "Premiers Symptoms", in 1997, and it immediately attracted the attention of British producers. But the band gained real popularity and recognition in 2000 by writing the soundtrack to the film "The Virgin Suicides", for which it was awarded the Chicago Film Critics Association Award.
