The legendary British rock band Pink Floyd was founded in 1965. The band is one of the most influential in rock music - 300 million copies of their albums have been sold in the world, and in 1994 the team received a Grammy in the nomination "Best Instrumental Rock Performance". The band performed successfully until 1995, and a reunion took place in 2005. The band's name is included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The album The Wall was released in 1979 and was the last to be recorded in a classic line-up.
