A remastered vinyl edition of the 1979 album Highway to Hell by the rock band AC/DC, released in 2003. The album was recorded at London's Roundhouse Studios and the American Criterion Studios in Miami. The album received 7-fold platinum status in the USA and took 17th place in the charts of this country, in the UK it rose to the 8th line of the chart and was awarded a "golden disc", and in France it made its way to the 2nd place. The album was not only the last recorded with Bon Scott, but also the best-selling with this vocalist.
AC/DC is one of the most successful bands in the history of music, it was founded in 1973 in Australia, the following year the first single "Can I Sit Next to You Girl" was recorded, which became the only release with vocalist Dave Evans. The debut CD High Voltage was released in Australia in 1975 with a new vocalist - Bon Scott. Despite his death in 1980, the band found the strength to continue their activities - and with a new vocalist, Brian Johnson, achieved even greater success. The first disc with him, Back In Black, became the best-selling album of AC/DC's entire career, only in the USA this album has a 22-fold platinum status. The last numbered release of the Black Ice collective to date debuted at the 1st place on the charts of 29 countries! All AC/DC albums have gone at least platinum in the USA. The group's total sales are more than 150 million copies worldwide.
