The 14th and last studio album in the discography of the great Pink Floyd. The CD cover was done by Storn Torgerson, one of the founders of the legendary Hipgnosis studio ("Dark Side Of The Moon", "Wish You Were Here", "Animals").
The work on the CD was attended by: producer Bob Ezrin ("Pink Floyd - The Wall"), saxophonist Dick Perry ("The Dark Side Of The Moon", "Wish You Were Here"), sound engineer Andy Jackson ("A Momentary Lapse Of Reason").
The new studio work was released 7 years after the release of the album "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" and the expectations of the band's fans were more than justified. From the mysterious "Cluster One" opening disc to the incomparable "High Hopes", the album is listened to in one breath, as if you are flying through time and space.
The Division Bell received a Grammy Award for the large-scale canvas "Marooned" (in the nomination Best Instrumental Rock Performance), and was also nominated for the Brit Awards in the nomination "Best British Album". Triple platinum in the USA, double platinum in the UK. The album has sold over 17 million copies worldwide. The CD rose to No. 1 in the charts of the USA, Great Britain, Holland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Australia.
In support of The Division Bell, the musicians embarked on a world tour, which was accompanied by amazing light shows, taking into account the latest technologies - the best in the history of the band.
