One of the most noticeable changes in the design of the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon is a tonearm made of carbon fiber. Such a tonearm combines several positive qualities at once — rigidity, resistance to resonances and lightness. This makes it a good solution for accurate reading by the player's pickup. A 2M Red pickup is installed on the tonearm. But if desired, the cartridge can be replaced with another model. The weight and dimensions of the support disk are slightly increased. This has a positive effect on the entire operation of the Debut Carbon vinyl player. The support disc itself is covered with a felt mat, which serves as an additional barrier to excessive vibration and reliably protects the plate from contamination.

The pass drive from the synchronous motor rotates the support disk. The engine itself is installed through anti-vibration gaskets.

This device, unlike many inexpensive vinyl players, has gold-plated RCA sockets designed to connect to an amplifier. For this reason, if desired, the connecting cable included in the kit can be replaced with another one.
