The Pro-Ject Debut III DC Esprit 2M-Red vinyl disc player is a further development of the famous Debut model, which at one time became a symbol of the return of this class of equipment to the mass market. The new turntable is also offered at a very affordable price, but significant changes have been made to its design, which have improved the sound quality. The chassis of the player, made of fiberboard, can have a black, red or white lacquer finish.

First of all, in the new model, it is worth noting a tonearm made of carbon fiber impregnated with a special resin - the use of such high-end devices on players of the initial price category is very rare. In addition, the Pro-Ject Debut III DC Esprit 2M-Red uses a support disc of increased diameter and weight, which positively affected the smooth rotation of the disc and reduced the overall vibration level. The base of the disc is made of acrylic, and is mounted on a subdisc, which is connected by means of an elastic pass with an alternating current motor, mechanically untied from the chassis using sorbotane gaskets. The motor is connected to a generator, which in turn operates from a constant voltage source - such a solution made it possible to make the rotation speed more stable.

Tonearm and Pro-Ject Debut III DC Esprit 2M-Red is equipped with a damped microlift and a weight antiskating. The player provides three disk speeds, while switching between 33 and 45 revolutions per minute is electronic, and to switch to 78 revolutions, you need to manually transfer the drive belt to another roller on the motor pulley. In addition, in this case, a special 2M78 head designed to work with such plates will need to be installed on the tonearm.

The device is equipped with a high-quality MM-pickup Ortofon 2M Red, a dust cover and a central adapter for 45 rpm records. The Pro-Ject Debut III DC Esprit 2M-Red output is designed as a pair of RCA connectors, so you can use any cable of the user's choice to connect the turntable to the phono corrector.
