The case of the Sumiko Pearwood Celebration II cartridge is made of silky pear wood. This model has absorbed all the best that Sumiko has been able to accumulate over its 35 years of experience, developing and producing cartridges for analog players.
Skillfully combining a range of innovative and at the same time thoroughly tested materials, Celebration brings back the thrill of the glorious days of analog players.
In order for the cartridge to be used as efficiently as possible, additional components were carefully selected: a classic Alnic magnet for high signal output at 0.5 millivolts; a diamond needle with a low mass; a cantilever made of long-crystal boron for rigidity and smoothing resonances; a new synthetic rubber in the suspension system for excellent performance and durability.
