To become an analog classic in its price class, this is the purpose of the Sumiko Blackbird pickup cartridge with extremely low noise, wide dynamic range and the highest fidelity. The bodyless design, with an open suspension system, eliminates unwanted resonances that are typical for conventional heads with a closed body. In addition, a rigid coil suspension using an inertial block significantly reduces internal resonances. A diamond with a complex shape of sharpening, mounted on a holder made of long-crystal boron, providing rigidity and low weight. In this combination, the most complete transfer of energy from the needle to the coil occurs and, as a result, stable, stable movement in the groove with excellent bass resolution.
Each Sumiko Blackbird cartridge is made by hand and has several control posts. This ensures not only the highest build quality, but also excellent repeatability of products.
