The Coffee series uses solid copper conductors, silvered in a percentage of 10%, and a dielectric magnetization system (Dielectric-Bias System (DBS), created by AudioQuest specialists, US patents No. 7,126,055 and 7,872,195 B1). DBS dramatically reduces the level of audible own noise and increases dynamic contrast, preserving even the fine nuances and textures of the audio signal.

Solid conductors eliminate the appearance of distortions caused by the interference of cores, and reduce jitter (jitter of the digital signal front). Solid silver-plated conductors are excellent for applications with very high frequencies, such as transmitting audio signals via the USB interface. Signals of such a high frequency almost completely pass over the surface of the conductor. And since the surface is made of high purity silver, the characteristics are very close to the parameters of an all-silver cable at a price only slightly higher than the price of an all-silver one. This is an incredibly cost-effective way to manufacture USB cables of very high quality.

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually a component of an imperfect electrical circuit. Insulation materials of wires and circuit boards absorb electricity, causing its loss. Some of this energy is stored and then released in the form of distortions. Insulation made of solid high-density polyethylene provides the necessary geometry of the signal pair, and the phase distortions induced by it are minimal.
