Pearl HDMI has solid conductors made of long-grained copper (LGC). Special attention was paid to maximizing the performance of HDMI, and indeed, AudioQuest HDMI cables bring sound performance to a new level.

DIRECTIVITY-HDMI

All audio cables are directional. The correct direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in each AudioQuest audio cable. All signal conductors are monitored to direct digital audio in AudioQuest HDMI cables, and attention is even paid to ensure that the conductors used in the reverse audio channel run in the opposite direction to ensure the best performance for this application. The arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to ensure excellent sound quality.

POLYURETHANE FOAM INSULATION

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. The insulation of the wires and the materials of the printed circuit board absorb energy. Some of this energy is stored and then released in the form of distortion. Since air practically does not absorb energy, and polyethylene has low losses and a good deformation profile, polyethylene foam with its high air content causes much less of the defocusing effect characteristic of other materials.
