"Please" is a remastered reissue of the 1986 debut studio album by the Pet Shop Boys on 180-gram vinyl.
The Pet Shop Boys' debut album "Please" was produced by Stephen Hug. The album was released in 1986 and reached the 3rd position of the official British album chart, where it spent 82 weeks, and also entered the top 10 of the US chart, received a platinum certificate and sold more than 3 million copies all the time. The album contains the debut single of the West End Girls duo, which became the first Pet Shop Boys track to receive gold status. In 1987, the single was recognized as the best at the BRIT Awards, became the best international hit at the Ivor Novello Awards, and later at this award in 2005 was recognized as the song of the decade. West End Girls also reached number 1 on the US chart.
Pet Shop Boys is a British synthpop duo formed in 1981 in London. Pet Shop Boys (translated as the Guys from the pet store) is one of the most commercially successful and fruitful dance music recording groups in the UK: over the past thirty years they have released more than forty singles (20 of them were in the top ten of the British charts), 12 studio albums (all of them were in the top 10 of the British from the first to the ninth place), as well as many joint recordings with other artists.
