"Actually" is a remastered reissue of the 1987 album by the Pet Shop Boys on 180-gram vinyl.
In 1987, Pet Shop Boys released their second album Actually, which debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart. The album was produced by Julian Mendelsohn, Stephen Hug, Shep Pettibon and the Pet Shop Boys. At this time, the Pet Shop Boys group reached new heights thanks to three hits that took the first line of the charts: It's A Sin, Always On My Mind and Heart, as well as the single What Have I Done To Deserve This, which took the second line and recorded with Dusty Springfield. "At that time, I felt that we had figured out the secret of modern pop music, we knew what needed to be done," says Neil Tennant.
Pet Shop Boys is a British synthpop duo formed in 1981 in London. Pet Shop Boys (translated as "The Guys from the pet store") is one of the most commercially successful and fruitful dance music recording groups in the UK: over the past thirty years, they have released more than forty singles (20 of them were in the top ten of the British charts), 12 studio albums (all of them were in the top 1010 of the UK chart, ranking from first to ninth place), as well as many joint recordings with other artists.
