The British rock band Def Leppard was formed in 1977 and has been performing successfully ever since. The peak of the band's popularity came in the second half of the 80s, when the platinum albums "Hysteria" and "Pyromania" were released. Among the most successful singles worth noting are "Love Bites" (first place in the US chart), "Pour Some Sugar On Me" (second place) and "Armageddon It" (third place). In 1995, the band got into the Guinness Book of Records for performing on three continents within one day.
