Dave Warren Brubeck is an American jazz composer, arranger, pianist, and leader of The Dave Brubeck Quartet. One of the outstanding representatives of cool jazz ("cool jazz" or California jazz of the 1950s and 1960s). Brubeck has done a lot during his career - his discography includes several dozen outstanding albums. One of the most famous works of the Dave Brubeck quartet is the classical jazz composition "Take Five" (composer Paul Desmond), recorded in 1959 and included in the album "Time Out". He has many awards to his credit, including the Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement.
