Somethin' Else is a 1958 studio album by American jazz musician Cannonball Adderley. By the way, the legendary Miles Davis also participated in the work on this thing - the composition "Somethin'" is listed as his authorship Else" and in fact, he is the co-author of the album. It is noteworthy that this wonderful record was included in the encyclopedia The Penguin Guide To Jazz in the section "Central Collection".
Cannonball Adderley (1928-1975) was an American jazz alto saxophonist who played in the style of hard bop. Adderley became famous both as an independent musician (his most outstanding single is "Mercy Mercy Mercy") and as a colleague of Miles Davis, with whom he recorded the landmark album "Kind Of Blue" in 1959.
