The popular and award-winning orchestra is releasing a new album, "Come On In". The intensity has remained unchanged, but there is room for new bands of melancholy. Having performed more than 1,000 concerts in 21 countries, the energetic and critically acclaimed ensemble made people smile and dance. Because that's what the blues is capable of: getting rid of life's problems. The frontman knows this better than most others, and on the 10th album - with the tempting title "Come On In" — he clinches with everything from his age to political realities.

In 2019, these musicians continue to work the same way as in the beginning. Thorbjørn Risager sits at home with his acoustic guitar and creates the basis of the song before they enter the studio, where everyone offers beats, bass parts, brass parts, backing vocals and inserts. All this provides Black Tornado with a sound that evokes the feeling of the elements raging around the Risager voice.

Their open-minded and innovative approach to blues adds elements to songs from genres such as funk, gospel, soul and rock and roll. It all depends on the mood and direction of the song. One of the essential nuances of the new album is the axis of melancholic songs with acoustic guitar. It arose instinctively, because now the blues reflects Risager's position in life.

"The blues is my outlet. And this time I wrote some songs about doubts about whether I'm finding the right place in my life. However, there is something fundamental in my songwriting that is looking for light. That is, gritting your teeth, say, "I'll just keep moving on."
