The Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 vinyl player is made on the basis of a very successful model with the E index, and in fact is its further development. The player retains the concept that determined the success of its predecessor - the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 is a vinyl player assembled according to the "all-in-one" principle, but without compromise in terms of its main function – playback of analog recordings.

To achieve this goal, the classic design of this company's turntable was again chosen as the basis for the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2, in the case of which all the necessary electronics were integrated. Thus, the device has the necessary vibration response, all the basic settings and has the traditional high reliability for the company's models, but at the same time its set of functions is really impressive.

The new model has an acrylic support disc with good damping characteristics and an aluminum tonearm with a length of 8.6 inches. The tonearm is equipped with a proprietary Pick-It 25A pickup, the design of which has been optimized for use on this particular player. The device has a pass drive with manual switching of the rotation speed of the disk 33/45 rpm, and its support bearing is made with high precision of bronze and stainless steel.

The Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 is equipped with a proprietary phono corrector assembled according to the scheme that is also used in the company's Box Design series models, as well as a 2 x 50 W stereo amplifier operating in Class D. To connect the speakers (this is the only thing that needs to be added to the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 to get a complete stereo system), reliable screw terminals are provided on the back of the player. There are also RCA connectors for the line input (for another signal source), outputs with a fixed and adjustable signal level, as well as an output from the pickup. For wireless connection to mobile devices, the Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 has built-in Bluetooth.

To control the operation of the player, there is a large backlit LCD display on its upper panel. The Pro-Ject Juke Box S2 package includes a remote control, dust cover, acoustic cables and damping supports.
