Vinyl Player Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO 2M-Red High Gloss White

The Debut series players first appeared in the Pro-Ject catalog in 1998. Although Pro-Ject had already produced various models of players before, the name for the novelty was not chosen by chance. It emphasized the fact that the Debut player was the optimal choice for music lovers who are beginning to be interested in listening to music from vinyl and who want to purchase their first Hi-Fi-class player.

Over the past almost 20 years, the Pro-Ject players of the Debut series have undergone several upgrades and are currently the best-selling model in their class. And now the company has decided to release a completely updated Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO. All key elements have been improved here, as well as improvements made taking into account the wishes of the owners of these players of previous years.

The heavy and durable MDF chassis of the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO player can have one of nine trim options that were selected taking into account customer requests. Now, in addition to glossy, matte coatings have appeared among them. In addition, the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO was equipped with three height-adjustable metal supports, which simplified the alignment of the player on any surfaces. Another important addition to the novelty was the electronic switching of the rotation speed of the plate (33/45 rpm), which previously was not available for all models of the series. At the same time, it was decided to mount the corresponding button on the underside of the chassis so as not to violate the laconic design of the player.

An important upgrade in the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO model was the damping of its design using a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). In particular, this material is applied to the inner side of the support disk, which made it possible to eliminate unwanted resonances, as well as increase its mass.

The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO engine also received additional damping, which made its operation almost silent. This model has a proprietary tonearm with an integrated shell and a carbon fiber tube. The Ortofon 2M Red MM pickup is normally installed on the player, so its initial setup is very simple.

The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO player is equipped with a proprietary Connect it E Phono cable, has an additional round pass for listening to records at 78 rpm and a transparent dust cover.
