The open structure is attached to a metal U-shaped plate with threaded holes for attachment to the shell. There is no protective cover provided. The coils are wound with a lacquered gold or silver conductor with an optimized identical crystal structure. Gold, in addition to low resistance, is also characterized by high stability and high density of the crystal lattice. Flexible leads made of long-crystal silver in colored nylon insulation lead from the coils to the contact pads. The parts of the magnetic circuit are free from the so-called Weiss effect and have high linearity. An open generator, unlike a case generator, has a minimum of its own resonances.
