Cross sectionThe Thames Hybrid resembles an "eight" with a dot in the center. A steel wire is placed between the two signal cables of the stereo pair, which helps to increase strength and prevents unwanted tension, and also allows you to create a grounding bundle between the components. Each of the conductors of The Thames Hybrid model consists of seven cores made of oxygen-free high-purity copper (OFC). Each vein has a hybrid structure and includes a dense layer of purified silver and a layer of L.S.C. (Linear Structured Carbon - linear structured carbon). Such a structure makes it possible to significantly increase the resolution of a low-level signal and ensure its accurate transmission. High-quality polyethylene is used to insulate the conductors, and a screen consisting of 72 cores is used to protect them from interference and radiation. The outer shell of Hulliflex has a dark red color, is characterized by high strength, excellent flexibility, resistance to wear and does not contain halogens that accelerate the oxidation processes. The width of the cable is 9 mm, and its thickness is 4.2 mm.

The Thames Hybrid model boasts an extremely low parasitic capacity, which minimizes the load on the tonearm cartridge. Four Van Den Hul RCA C-4.0 connectors with gold-plated contact surfaces are used for cutting.
