AudioQuest "48" HDMI cables allow you to transmit professional video in 10K Ultra-HD format. The bandwidth of 48 Gbit/s is provided by 4 balanced audio/ video pairs with a speed of 12 Gbit/ s each. 8K / 10K

AudioQuest 48 Gbps HDMI cables have the bandwidth required for video with resolutions up to 10K and resolutions/refresh rates up to 8K/60 and 4K/120. All AudioQuest HDMI cables are fully backward compatible with existing 4K displays.

10% silver eARC conductors / 5% silver - grounding

AudioQuest's eARC priority HDMI cables, eARC data pair conductors and ground channel use the same advanced design elements as their 48 series counterparts, which provides excellent sound performance at the most affordable prices.

NOISE LEVEL 3: CARBON + METAL + DIRECTIVITY

Traditional "100% shielding" is not enough to protect against the increasingly widespread effects of Wi-Fi, cellular and satellite radiation. In AudioQuest HDMI cables, all 19 conductors are directional controlled to minimize RF noise that degrades performance by "directing" or diverting it away from the most vulnerable circuits. Level 3 noise dissipation adds a high-loss carbon layer located between the metal layers around 4 pairs of FRL + eARC to further improve noise dissipation. Additional noise dissipation methods (levels 4 and higher) are used, if budget allows, to further reduce noise.

0.5% silver-plated copper audio/video conductors (HDMI)

In AudioQuest HDMI cables, increasingly thick layers of silver coating are applied to AudioQuest long-grain copper (LGC) conductors to improve noise dissipation. Placing high-quality metal on the outside of the conductor gives the greatest improvement in overall performance - an extremely cost-effective way to maximize the use of a digital cable. Forest 48 uses 0.5% silver-plated copper for its conductors.
