The Ballad Of John Henry is the seventh studio album by blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, released in 2009.
Joe Bonamassa was born in New Hartford, New York, on May 8, 1977. He first picked up a guitar at the age of four. At the age of 10, he already began to perform publicly, and at 12 he opened a concert by BB King himself. In 2000, Joe Bonamassa recorded his first solo record "A New Day Yesterday" in the style of classic English rock of the turn of the 1960s and 70s. Then the musician worked fruitfully, releasing an album every year and actively touring. In 2010, Bonamassa joined the supergroup Black Country Communion, in which Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian also play. In the same year, the band's debut album was released.
