"Demon Days" is a reissue on double 180-gram vinyl of the second and most successful studio album of the famous Gorillaz band, released in 2005.
The album was recorded with a new producer - Brian Burton, better known as Danger Mouse. Artists of different genres took part in the recording of the album: De La Soul ("Feel Good Inc."), Roots Manuva ("All Alone"), Neneh Cherry ("Kids With Guns"), Sean Ryder ("Dare"), Ike Turner (piano solo in "Every Planet We Reach Is Dead") and Dennis Hopper ("Fire Coming Out Of The Monkey's Head"). Thanks to this, each song has its own exceptional color and mood. In this album, the band continued to mix a variety of musical styles, but moved to a much higher level. Hip-hop, electronica, guitar pop, country and western are not a complete list of this fusion album.
Gorillaz is a British virtual band formed in 1998 by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. The project includes an extensive fictional universe surrounding the "virtual band" itself, consisting of four animated members: 2D (lead vocals, keyboards), Murdock Nikkals (bass guitar, drum machine), Noodle (guitar, melodica, vocals) and Russell Hobbs (drums, percussion).
