Reissue of the studio album "We Can't Dance" by Genesis, originally released in 1991. The CD was the last recorded with the participation of Phil Collins, who left the band shortly after its recording and took up a solo career. The album went platinum four times in the USA. We Can't Dance partially returns the listener to the aesthetics of early Genesis. Sharper, with vibrant guitar parts and more lively drums (than on "Invisible Touch"), the album is Genesis' strongest work in the last 10 years. Along with witty and bright pop ballads, the band demonstrates its forgotten side, telling gloomy stories that are not limited in duration in "Driving the Last Spike" and "Dreaming While You Sleep" and in the closing instrumental "Fading Lights". The song "Since I Lost You" was written by Collins in memory of Eric Clapton's son Connor.

Genesis is one of the leading British rock bands, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 for its merits. They play in the style of progressive rock, in which there are both fast tracks and long compositions, several tens of minutes long. The band was founded in 1997 and during this time has undergone drastic changes in the composition more than once, received prestigious music awards and sold more than 150 million copies of albums.
