He is the author of such hits of the group as "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Seven Seas of Rhye", "Somebody to Love", "We Are the Champions", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", etc. The musician was also engaged in solo work. In 2002, Freddie Mercury took 58th place in the survey "100 greatest Britons", organized by the BBC. In 2005, Blender magazine conducted a survey, according to which Freddie took second place among vocalists (first among men). In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 18th on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Vocalists of All Time". Allmusic described him as "one of the greatest rock singers and the owner of one of the greatest voices in the history of music."

Montserrat Caballe is a Spanish opera singer (soprano). She became famous, first of all, for her bel canto technique and performance of roles in classical Italian operas by Puccini, Bellini and Donizetti. Her huge repertoire includes 88 roles and about 800 chamber works. Over the entire period of her career, she performed a variety of roles - from Pamina to Isolde, from Elvira to Turandot. Fans of rock music are known for the joint album with the vocalist of the band Queen Freddie Mercury - Barcelona (1988). The title song, dedicated to Caballe's hometown of Barcelona, became one of the two official songs of the 1992 Summer Olympics held in the capital of Catalonia. In 1997, together with the Swiss rock band Gotthard, the rock ballad "One Life One Soul" was recorded.
