Reissue of the 1981 studio album "Boonoonoonoos" by Boney M.

The legendary German disco band Boney M, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, announced the vinyl reissue of three albums, as well as the release of a full discography on 9 vinyl records. Earlier this year, the reissues of the band's first three albums - "Take The Heat Off Me" (1976), "Love For Sale" (1977) and "Nightflight To Venus" (1978) - were already released. As before, the re-release of the new albums will be made in the original design with an updated sound.

The studio albums "Oceans Of Fantasy" (1979) and "Boonoonoonoos" (1981), as well as the compilation "Kalimba de Luna" (1984) belong to the heyday of the German supergroup. Following the release of the most successful album in his discography, "Nightflight To Venus", Boney M. they continued to stay on the wave of success: for example, "Oceans Of Fantasy" reached the 1st place in the UK charts and achieved platinum certification. At the same time, the band does not forget about musical development: starting with "Boonoonoonoos", the band actively uses Caribbean and Jamaican rhythms in their work. It sounded incredibly fresh in the mid-1980s - and it sounds just as relevant to this day.
