Billy Idol is a legendary English rock musician who played a significant role in the formation of the world punk scene, the author of such hits as "Rebel Yell", "Dancing with myself", a former member of the group "Generation X". One of the first rock artists of the early 80s, who managed to extract all the advantages from music television, and soared on the airwaves of MTV to the heights of world popularity. Billy Idol became interested in punk rock in 1976, when he traveled with other fans for the Sex Pistols band in Britain. Before starting his solo career in 1982, he managed to play with Siouxsie and The Banshees, Chelsea and Generation X.
