The Pro-Ject X2 2M-Silver has a classic design, all the key elements of which have been further improved. The player is mounted on a massive MDF chassis and equipped with a 2 kg acrylic support disc with a subdisc mounted on a precision steel bearing.

The Pro-Ject X2 model uses a high-end 9-inch tonearm with a multilayer carbon and aluminum construction and internal damping. The Pro-Ject X2 player tonearm is ideal for installing MC pickups, and the integrated shell allows you to eliminate resonances. The counterweight with TPE damping additionally reduces the resonances of the pickup tonearm by 50%.

The engine of the Pro-Ject X2 player also has damping and operates from stabilization circuits with electronic speed switching. Like all Pro-Ject models, the X2 player is completely manufactured in Europe at the company's own factory.
