The pre-installed Ortofon Pick-IT 25 A cartridge, developed exclusively for Pro-Ject Audio Systems, is a movable magnet cartridge based on the popular Ortofon OM series. But it uses highly conductive silver coils in the generator system for superior sound transmission. The result of the combination is a very harmonious and warm, audiophile sound.
The Debut III S Audiophile uses the well-known debut design and includes the same belt-driven motor, alternator and 12-inch plate assembly as the award-winning Debut Carbon model for silent stable recording.
