The Pro-Ject Essential III Recordmaster OM10 vinyl player is the most functionally equipped model in its series. The Pro-Ject Essential III Recordmaster is equipped with a built-in analog-to-digital converter with USB output. The player provides the output of a digital stream in Lossless quality with parameters of 16 bits / 48 kHz. In addition, a pair of RCA jacks on the back of the device can be signaled both from the built-in phono corrector and directly from the pickup (the required operating mode is selected using a miniature switch). This provides good flexibility in connecting the Pro-Ject Essential III Recordmaster, depending on the equipment of a particular audio system.

Another addition to the design of the player in comparison with the basic version is the presence of a built-in electronic switch of the speed of rotation of the disc. It is built according to the proprietary SpeedBox circuitry and provides high stability of the disk rotation speed and its compliance with nominal values.

It has a chassis and a support disc made of vibration-resistant MDF, and an 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm on a precision bearing. The player comes with an Ortofon OM10 pickup already installed, so its initial setup takes a minimum of time.
