AudioQuest NRG-Z3 EU cables use Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) filaments with an adjustable direction in a semi-liquid concentric conductor, in which the bundles are packed more tightly and never change position in the bundle. This design significantly reduces the distortion of the interaction of the threads. The very clean and smooth surfaces of PSC conductors minimize the distortion caused by grain boundaries that exist in any metal conductor.
