Bluesound Pulse 2i is the largest speaker in the series, which has a full-fledged stereo configuration. Two broadband drivers with a diameter of 7 cm are complemented by a 13.3 cm subwoofer. Accordingly, the radiators are serviced by three proprietary DIRECTDIGITAL™ amplifiers with a total power of 80 watts, which is very decent for a wireless monoblock model - such a serious monoblock is quite capable of voicing the living room. 

The Bluesound Pulse 2i is based on an audio streamer based on the ARM® CORTEX™ A9 CPU operating at a frequency of 1 GHz. The switching arsenal of this unit is quite extensive. For integration into a computer network, you can use both a wired method via Gigabit Ethernet and wireless over Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. There is also a built-in Bluetooth adapter that allows you to stream music directly from mobile gadgets. Support for the aptX specification ensures the best possible sound quality.

In addition, audio files can also be played from external USB drives - an appropriate port is provided for connecting them. All current audio encoding formats with parameters up to 24 bit / 192 kHz are supported. The only thing missing is the ability to play DSD. In the global network, the block allows you to work with cloud services WiMP, Slacker Radio, Qobuz, HighResAudio, JUKE, Deezer, Murfie, HDtracks, Spotify, TIDAL, Napster, Rhapsody. Unfortunately, not all resources from this list are officially represented in Russia, but, nevertheless, there are known ways to solve this problem. Internet radio aggregators TuneIn Radio and iHeartRadio are also supported, providing access to hundreds of radio stations broadcasting on the network.

Bluesound Pulse 2i is equipped with an analog input on the minijack connector, combined with a toslink optical digital input, which allows you to connect, for example, a TV or a game console to the component. A small control panel with pseudo-touch keys is provided to control playback and volume control, however, you can fully configure and use the device only using the free Bluesound App, implemented for iOS and Android devices. Traveling through the music library and controlling playback with it is a pleasure!
