Five years have passed since Al Di Meola's World Sinfonia Studio Album (Consequence Of Chaos). His rhythmic and virtuoso chords once again show Al Di Meola's ability to develop sophisticated harmonies and simple, beautiful and fascinating melodies. Even if he may be a romantic, he shows that his legendary chops can still flash like in his classics from the 70s.
On Pursuit Of Radical Rhapsody, the guitar virtuoso and pioneer of world music, together with his ensemble World Sinfonia, devotes himself more to the atmospheric and overwhelming sounds. Sometimes suite-like songs, then again cutting guitar tones change into warm, lyrical and then again lively, rhythmically charged lines.
