Bobby Womack is an African-American singer, guitarist, songwriter in the style of rhythm and blues. In the early 1960s, he recorded with his brothers as part of the Womack Brothers collective. Their producer was Sam Cook, after whose murder Womack surprised many fans by marrying his widow Barbara.
