Telarc is a creative recording philosophy and excellent sound quality.
Telarc was launched in 1977 as a purely classical label. It was founded by musicians Jack Renner and Robert Woods, who quickly became known for their high-quality recordings and signature Telarc sound. Over time, the company has received more than 50 Grammy Awards.
Telarc has long-standing relationships with the "Prince of Pop" Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Robert Shaw and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, as well as Leonard Slatkin and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Numerous legendary recordings have resulted from this relationship.
