The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Recordmaster Hires 2M-Red vinyl player has all the advantages of its series models, but it also has some features. The device is made on a massive MDF chassis, which has excellent anti-resonance characteristics, and is mounted on damping supports. Pro-Ject Debut Carbon RecordMaster HiRes is equipped with an excellent acrylic support disc that protects the plate from vibrations without using an additional mat.

The disk is supported by a bearing, the axis of which is made of stainless steel, and the body is made of bronze. As on other models of the series, the player has a proprietary carbon fiber tonearm with integrated shell and precision bearings. The Ortofon 2M Red pickup is mounted on the tonearm, but a full set of adjustments allows you to mount any other standard MM or MC head on it.

The player is equipped with a proprietary motor stabilizer based on a quartz master generator and has an electronic speed switching of 33/45 revolutions per minute. A feature of this model is the presence of a built-in high-tech ADC, the signal from which can be taken from optical or USB outputs. This allows you to connect the player to an AV receiver, amplifier, or even a soundbar that does not have a free line input.

The USB connector in the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon RecordMaster HiRes is used to transmit a signal to a PC/Mac to save digital copies of recordings on vinyl. At the same time, conversion to High resolution formats (PCM 24 bit / 192 kHz or DSD256) is supported, which allows you to fully preserve the original analog sound quality of vinyl. In addition, the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon RecordMaster HiRes includes a built-in phono corrector and the output RCA connectors of the player can be signaled both from it and directly from the pickup.

The device is equipped with a proprietary phono cable and an acrylic dust cover.
