AT-LP5X is a two–speed (33 and 45 revolutions per minute) non–stop model - the support disk "sits" directly on the shaft of the electric motor. The exclusion of a capricious rubber part is a decision in favor of the reliability of the device.

The player is not made for DJ fun, but for proper listening with home comfort. The owner will not need to enroll in the courses of vinyl growers: the 5th has a single control knob, all the provisions of which are signed - "33", "45", the icon "ON" and "STOP". You can deal with the divisions of the counterweight of the tonearm and the wheel of the antiskating system independently and without straining.

If one day you want a new sound, you can change the standard AT95Ex cartridge to another MM-type cartridge.

For the sake of fresh audio impressions, experienced vinyl fans start experimenting with external phono correctors. The phono corrector module built into the AT-LP5X is disabled by moving the slider on the back of the player from the "Phono" position to the "Line" position. An external amplifier is connected to the line through RCA connectors.

The desire to overtake your favorite records from the records into a "digit" is supported by the ADC board on board the player, which, in fact, is intended for a digital USB output. The manufacturer carefully put the software for digitizing vinyl in the kit for the player.

The conversion to 0 and 1 of the visually accessible mechanics of reading information – track by track – is rather an auxiliary function.
