In fact, the head of the VDH The FROG HO pickup is the embodiment of GRASSHOPPER in a "dressed", not naked form. In other words, the needle, needle holder, coil frame, damper and flanges of The FROG and GRASSHOPPER magnetic systems are identical. The generator with a higher output voltage, however, is hidden in an aluminum housing, and its coils are wound with a copper wire with a monocrystalline precisely oriented structure. Another magnet material is also used. It is available in several versions (Standard, Gold and High Ouput).
