Subwoofer cable Audioquest Irish Red

To improve the characteristics of the subwoofer, the cable uses conductors made of long-grained copper (LGC) with a silver coating of 0.5%. The characteristics of a cable with a high purity silver surface are quite close to the characteristics of a fully silver cable, but for a much lower price.

The Noise-Dissipation System prevents a significant amount of radio interference from entering the grounding plane of the equipment.

AUDIOQUEST IRISH RED has gold-plated RCA connectors. Instead of soldering, a high-pressure technique was used in the process, which allowed minimizing the level of signal distortion.

The cable uses air-filled insulation made of foamed polyethylene. Air is absorbed without energy, and polyethylene has a low loss and a benign distortion profile. Thanks to the air in the insulation, we get a smaller effect of distortion characteristic of other materials.
