The Ortofon Mono CG 65 Di MkII model is a SPU-type pickup with a movable coil and a needle having a spherical profile designed to reproduce old monophonic records with a groove width of 65 microns and a speed of 78 rpm.
The Ortofon pickup provides original reproduction of these vinyl records with an exceptional level of sound accuracy, regardless of the material used for their manufacture. The 1.5 mV output signal allows this pickup to be used with various boost transformers with moderate gain.
