Audio-Technica AT-ART9XI is the flagship cartridge with a movable coil. The double movable coil is aligned in the shape of an inverted letter V, which provides high separation and wide response for clear localization of sound and minimal distortion.

The "ART" in the model number stands for "Audio-Technica Reference Transducer", a designation we give only to our flagship cartridges.

The special sharpening of the Special Line Contact needle allows you to extract the maximum possible amount of information from the groove of a vinyl record, providing a very low level of distortion and significantly increasing the upper limit of the frequency range.
