Van Den Hul D-501 Silver Hybrid is a special version of our D-501 Hybrid. The main difference from the D-501 Hybrid is that its two stranded signal lines are made of matte silver crystal of the highest grade.

This symmetrical HULLIFLEX® cable with a black matte shell was designed for use in tonearms and mixing consoles: very flexible and with very good electrical qualities.Van Den Hul D-501 Silver Hybrid is a cable with a very high shielding coefficient.
By sound, this is one of the best cables in our program.

Van Den Hul D-501 Silver Hybrid is regularly used as a microphone cable in important professional recordings and as a special product for small and medium-sized businesses in England together with their prestigious tonearms, which can be equipped with this silver version of the D - 501 HYBRID at the request of the customer.

Two signal lines have a size of 19 x 0.1 mm each. Strands of matched crystal silver of the highest quality.
The white and red signal line insulation is made of cellular polyethylene, so stripping can be carried out even with nails to prevent damage to silver veins, usually caused by mechanical stripping.
The resistance of each signal wire is: 11.9 ohms / 100 meters.
The capacitance between the two signal wires is very small - 58 pF / meter.
The hybrid shielding consists of a dense and very pure silver coated high-quality matte crystal (MC) OFC 72 x 0.1 mm. a spiral of wire with a saturated conductive sheath Linear Structured Carbon ® (LSC) underneath.

Screen resistance: 3.2 ohms / 100 meters.
The very flexible black outer shell is made of non-migrating HULLIFLEX® to prevent any chemical decomposition over a long period.
Font printing is repeated every 25 cm (10") to simplify the cutting of the specified length.
Outer diameter of the cable: 4.0 mm.

The cable is factory-cut with a proprietary 5-pin TAC connector and RCA Van den Hul C-5.5 connectors with a three-layer coating of copper, silver, 24K gold, the grounding wire is equipped with a gold-plated blade. It is delivered in the manufacturer's branded packaging.
