STUDIO KONZERT: That is our large atmospheric recording room, which inspired numerous first-class artists. That is also extreme concentration and highly motivated artists for this very special moment. It is an attentive audience captivated by the fascination of this moment. This is the only way to create such fascinating moments in a very special concert situation.

STUDIO KONZERT: That are experienced sound engineers who conduct the acoustic brilliance with our first-class studio equipment: precious microphones, analogue effect devices and our clear, analogue Neve mixing console. Our Studer A 820 tape-records in a unique “direct-to-2-track” way.

Looking at Wolfgang Lackerschmid’s music career, there is no secret, he has a special penchant for Brazilian music. He played many concerts in the USA and in Europe with well-know latin jazz musicians such as Romero Lubambo, Claudio Roditi or Paquito D’Rivera. Not only traditional literature, but also Brazilian rhythmic and Lackerschmid's inspired compositions make this project special. A friendship between pianist Hélio Alves, drummer Duduka da Fonseca and bassist Nilson Matts, were the beginning of this project.

With breathtaking runs, rhythmic patterns and the variety of vibraphone’s sound colours, Wolfgang Lackerschmid and his trio captivated a fascinated audience. Sound engineer Johannes Wohlleben recorded this concert at its best.
